New bridge planned parallel to Chimanbhai Patel Bridge

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and the Urban Development Department have will construct a new bridge parallel to the existing Chimanbhai Patel Bridge.

This new infrastructure will connect the RTO circle to the upcoming Sabarmati bullet train depot, as the station nears completion, anticipating an increase in traffic in the area.

Mobile e-Challan App introduced in Gujarat

Gujarat has launched the Mobile e-Challan App across major cities, including Ahmedabad, as part of the One Nation One Challan project. Traffic police will utilize the app to issue e-challans for various violations, offering a convenient platform for violators to pay fines immediately.
