The Ring of Unity to be built in Ahmedabad 

Ahmedabad is poised to welcome a magnificent cultural landmark named the Ring of Unity (RoU), situated within the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave in Motera. Serving as the state's cultural nucleus, RoU will host a myriad of art and cultural events and festivals, featuring temporary stalls and markets.

Designed in the shape of a ring with a diameter of 150 meters, as revealed by government sources, the structure will encompass an open plaza, walkways, lush green spaces, and a lookout deck overlooking the Sabarmati River. Spanning 4 acres, the plaza will have a capacity for 5000 people and is slated for completion by 2030.

Opening of the Vibrant Gujarat Trade Show

The Prime Minister inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show on Tuesday, featuring the participation of 20 countries. Held at the Helipad Ground Exhibition Centre, the expansive exhibition covers 2 lakh square meters.

The show is currently open for businesses, extending its accessibility to the general public starting Friday. With 1000 exhibitors from the research sector, various countries will showcase information about their industries.

Engineering work at Sabarmati station causes train cancellation 

The Western Railway has initiated an engineering block for modification work at Sabarmati Station (Dharamnagar side) on the Ahmedabad Division. Consequently, certain trains will be canceled or partially canceled between Khodiyar-Sabarmati, and some trains won't stop at Sabarmati station (Dharmanagar side).

Weather Update

The Gujarat Meteorological Department has forecasted light rain in select areas of the state over the next 24 hours, particularly in some districts of South Gujarat and certain regions in southern Saurashtra. After this period, dry weather is anticipated. As temperatures rise, the intensity of the cold is expected to decrease.

Meteorological Department scientist Abhimanyu Chauhan reported that the minimum temperature in Ahmedabad was 18 degrees Celsius, while in Gandhinagar, it was recorded at 16.5 degrees Celsius yesterday.

National High-Speed Bullet Train model at Vibrant Summit

The National High-Speed Rail Corporation showcased a prototype of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train at the Vibrant Summit trade show. Attendees have the opportunity to experience a simulated bullet train journey. The showcased model features 10 coaches, with 15 seats in first class, 55 in business class, and 220 in standard class.

The bullet train display has captivated the audience, providing insights into the driver's cabin, passenger seating, and other amenities. Additionally, the exhibit includes a model of the bullet train tracks, the tunnel for the Ahmedabad-Mumbai route, and the tunnel boring machine (TBM), allowing the public to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project.
