Narendra Modi Stadium transformed into a sea of blue, but the defeat left thousands disheartened

With over a lakh Indians attending the match and crores watching from their home screens, streets, cafes, and everywhere else, yesterday marked a historic day for the cricket world. The crowd in Ahmedabad was ready to cheer, adorned in the blue jersey, making the spectacle at the stadium truly remarkable.

However, the loss left the entire nation disheartened and disappointed. Spectators at the NaMo Stadium didn't even wait for the fireworks; they left before that, creating chaos at the metro and parking.

A'bad to host Global Fisheries Conference 2023

Organized by India’s Department of Fisheries, Ahmedabad is set to host a global assembly of fisheries experts, policymakers, and diplomats at the Global Fisheries Conference India 2023. Coinciding with World Fisheries celebrations, the event is scheduled for November 21st and 22nd.

Countries such as France, Norway, Australia, Russia, Spain, Greece, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe will participate in the assembly. The primary objective is to promote startups for a sustainable future in fisheries and nurture international partnerships leading to innovations in the field.

AMC takes swift action for a clean city during and after the match

During the final match, the AMC promptly collected 350 tons of garbage from morning to night along the route from Narendra Modi Stadium to the teams' hotels, sending a strong message of a clean Ahmedabad. Additionally, 567 sweepers were stationed outside the stadium. As part of the action plan, waste was picked up immediately upon falling.

A small electric rickshaw was deployed to pick up the garbage, and the stadium was cleaned within the time it took to conclude the match. Municipalities went a step further by sprinkling water on trees from the airport to the stadium to remove dust from the leaves.
