With the monsoon season on the horizon, the municipal commissioner has directed officials to initiate pre-monsoon operations to prevent prolonged flooding and ensure efficient water disposal in Ahmedabad. The directive encompasses expedited work on all city bridges to facilitate proper drainage into stormwater lines. Additionally, interlinking of at least five lakes across all zones in the city is underway to bolster water management efforts.
