New direct flights connect Kuala Lumpur to Ahmedabad starting from 1st May

AirAsia has exciting news. It has announced new direct flights linking Kuala Lumpur with Ahmedabad. Commencing on May 1, 2024, this route provides a convenient transportation option for Gujaratis heading to the tourist destination.

To promote this new venture, AirAsia is offering a limited-time promotional fare, starting at RM 209 (Malaysian Ringgit) (approx INR 3,680) for flights departing from Kuala Lumpur and INR 7,999 for those originating from Ahmedabad to Kuala Lumpur. Interested travelers can take advantage of this special offer by making bookings until January 28, 2024.

Road construction agencies asked to enhance efficiency

Two agencies tasked with constructing roads in the city are facing challenges. Instead of completing one road at a time, roads in different areas are being simultaneously excavated, resulting in delays. Due to a shortage of manpower, roads are not being constructed promptly.

In response to local concerns, the commissioner has directed officials to ensure that work on another road only begins after completing the current one, alleviating inconvenience for residents.

Guidelines issued by City DEO to improve board exam results

The City District Education Office (City DEO) has issued guidelines to improve results in Class 10-12 board exams for schools with less than 30 percent pass rates. School principals and teachers are instructed to conduct programs, including face-to-face guidance meetings and seminars, to help relieve stress in students.

Additionally, the 'Pariksha Ek Utsav' program has been mandated at the school level to further support students in achieving favorable results.
