Rajkot-Ahmedabad railway route to enable 130 kmph speeds

Following the successful implementation of new fencing measures between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, which significantly reduced cattle-related accidents on the tracks, similar measures are set to be implemented between Rajkot and Ahmedabad.

Gujarat is advancing towards becoming a semiconductor hub, necessitating skilled manpower to complement the growing opportunities in the field. In response, the state's Educational Department has announced plans to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in semiconductors at Ahmedabad’s LD Engineering College.

With a budget of Rs 3 crore, the CoE will feature state-of-the-art laboratories for practical semiconductor-related experiments, offer short-term courses, and provide training to cultivate a skilled workforce for the industry.
