The AMC plans to address the issue by covering congested alleys with reinforced cement concrete, replacing existing red stone carpeting that facilitates rat burrowing. The initiative will commence in areas such as Jamalpur, Mirzapur, Khanpur, and Shahpur, where the installation of RCC roads is expected to mitigate the rat infestation problem.
