Ahmedabad leads as Indian housing sentiment index surges

Magicbricks has unveiled its flagship Housing Sentiment Index (HSI), reflecting the prevailing market sentiments based on the inputs of over 4500 customers across 11 cities. The HSI paints an optimistic picture of the Indian residential real estate sector, boasting an overall score of 149.

Ahmedabad emerges as a standout performer, leading the pack with an impressive HSI of 163, closely trailed by Kolkata (160), Gurugram (157), and Hyderabad (156). This upbeat sentiment is attributed to a confluence of factors, including robust infrastructure development and the advent of new real estate projects, signaling a buoyant outlook for the sector.
