Rumble strips installed at 6 junctions for driver alertness

Addressing the need for driver awareness without resorting to conventional speed breakers, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has implemented rumble strips at six strategic locations, including Prahladnagar and Sindhu Bhavan Road.

Designed to maintain driver vigilance and encourage speed reduction, the strips are now operational at key areas like Gandhi Ashram, Prahladnagar Road, Sindhu Bhavan Road, CTM Crossroads, Rameshwar Road, and Meghaninagar.

Surge in redevelopment projects reshaping city's urban fabric

A surge in housing redevelopment initiatives signals a transformative shift in Ahmedabad's urban landscape. Over the past eight months, approximately 50 redevelopment agreements have been finalized, with negotiations nearing completion for around 400 societies.

Realty experts highlight the redevelopment potential in areas such as Navrangpura, Naranpura, Paldi, and Memnagar, attributing the uptick in activity to expedited deals and recent court directives.
