Surge in cardiac procedures among women signals changing patterns

Dr. Anil Jain, a prominent cardiovascular surgeon in the city, has observed a significant shift in the landscape of heart procedures. A decade ago, only 10% of heart procedures were performed on women, but today, that number has surged to 20-30%.

Medical experts attribute this rise to the fact that after the age of 50-55, the cardiac risks among women align more closely with those of men in the same age group. This changing pattern reflects both an increase in cardiac diseases and greater awareness of the risks, with early detection leading to timely interventions.

For instance, an apartment listed on Airbnb, boasting its proximity to the stadium at just "250 m," is being offered as "Motera Cricket Stadium Home Furnished 6 Bed-2 BHK" for a staggering Rs 81,000 per night.
