Ahmedabad is reeling under intense summer heat, with temperatures soaring to 40°C on Monday. The city has been experiencing dry and harsh weather over the past few days, and the heat is expected to intensify further in the coming week. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), temperatures in Gujarat are set to rise by 2-3°C in the next three days, with no relief in sight.

Gujarat braces for a dry and scorching week

The humidity levels are also dropping significantly, starting at 40% in the morning and falling as low as 17% by evening, making the conditions even more unbearable. Rajkot recorded the highest temperature at 40°C, while Naliya saw the lowest at 18°C in Gujarat over the past 24 hours.

With no rainfall expected, Ahmedabad, along with Diu, Daman, and Dadra Nagar Haveli, will continue to experience dry weather throughout the week.

Scorching conditions for IPL clash between Gujarat Titans & Punjab Kings
