AMTS to operate 104 additional buses for India vs England ODI in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium
The Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) has announced the deployment of 104 additional buses on the 12th of February to facilitate smooth travel for cricket fans attending the third One-Day International (ODI) match between India and England at Narendra Modi Stadium.
Of these, 79 buses will run across 13 designated routes throughout the day, while 25 night-route buses will operate to manage the anticipated surge in commuters and reduce traffic congestion near the venue.

A total of 79 buses will operate on 13 designated routes from 6 AM to 11 PM, covering key locations such as Maninagar, Kalupur, Sarangpur, Vasna, and Chandkheda. In addition, 25 night-route buses will be available from 9:00 PM to 12 AM to ensure convenient post-match transportation.
For night travel, five additional routes will be operational from the stadium to Vasna, Maninagar, Odhav, Narol, and Ujala Circle. The ticket fare for these buses has been set at ₹20 per ride.
Additionally, traffic restrictions are in place around the stadium on match day to regulate vehicular movement and avoid congestion. Commuters have been advised to plan their travel accordingly and make use of the public transport facilities provided by AMTS.
