The pitch at Narendra Modi stadium seems to be a batting paradise.

After losing two wickets in the first session of Day 1 in the 4th ongoing cricket test match in Ahmedabad, Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith have come to Australia's rescue, putting together a solid 77-run partnership, including a fifty by the former.

Pitch thus far appears to be a batting paradise

After a shaky start to the innings, Aussies have recovered quite impressively on a pitch that offers little to no help for both spinners or pacers. In fact, the amount of turn the three Indian spinners are getting is the lowest in the series so far, standing only at 2.4°. Moving forward, Aussies would look to continue on the same path while the men in blue might need to experiment a little to get wickets on this belter of a track.
