Amdavadis, exciting news awaits! No longer will you need to travel to Maharashtra for Imagicaa because Ahmedabad is all set to welcome Gujarat's first and India’s second-largest Imagicca Theme Park.

This world-class entertainment destination will now call the eastern end of Atal Bridge on the Sabarmati Riverfront home. Spanning 4.56 hectares, it promises to be a game-changer for the city, blending adventure, entertainment, and relaxation. The project is a joint venture between Pune's Imagicaa World and the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation (SRFDCL).

Features & attractions: What to expect?

Ahmedabad’s upcoming Imagicca Theme Park will introduce a mix of indoor and outdoor attractions designed to appeal to a broad audience. The park’s layout will include a combination of high-thrill rides, interactive zones, and open green spaces. Key attractions will feature rides like a Ferris wheel, a Drop Tower, and a Flying Carousel.

In addition to rides, the park will incorporate tiered promenades and green spaces along the Sabarmati River, offering visitors areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Dining facilities will include food plazas serving multiple cuisines to cater to different tastes. There will also be a children's play area, specifically designed to provide a safe and engaging environment for younger visitors.

The park will house international franchises, including KidZania, which focuses on role-playing activities that help children explore different professions, and Dave & Buster’s, a gaming and entertainment centre with technology-driven experiences. The second phase of the park will introduce a snow park, providing a cold-weather experience with snow-based activities, a unique addition to the city’s recreational options.

Construction expected to begin within 3-4 months

The project has been approved by both Imagicaa World and SRFDCL, with construction expected to begin within 3-4 months once clearance from the National Green Tribunal (NGT) is secured. The first phase of the park is anticipated to be completed within 8-10 months.

With an investment of ₹300 crores, the park will be developed in multiple phases, ensuring a continuous influx of new attractions and experiences.

Positioned alongside other key attractions like Atal Bridge, Sabarmati Ashram, and Kankaria Lake, Imagicca will not only enhance the city’s leisure offerings but also establish Ahmedabad as a premier destination for entertainment and adventure, drawing in families, tourists, and thrill-seekers from all corners of the country.
