Expressing her gratitude towards the authorities and the government for their meticulous arrangements, she shared her thoughts after taking the holy dip: “This is my first visit to the Mela, and I feel truly blessed to be here. The energy of the crowd is amazing, and I’m excited to experience this. The government and organizers have really done an excellent job managing the event.”

She also praised the cleanliness efforts, saying, “The cleaning staff has been working tirelessly at the ghats to keep the area clean. The Karmacharis are efficiently maintaining the cleanliness of the water during the bathing and puja rituals.”

Here, you truly witness the spirit of India. The strength of this country lies in its people, and when you look around, you see thousands and thousands of them. I’m overwhelmed by the energy and the sacredness of this place.”

Along with several notable personalities attending the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Laurene Powell, widow of the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, also participated in the grand event on its opening day.
