Three major flyovers in Ahmedabad are set to face temporary closures as part of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR) construction. These closures are necessary to assemble tracks on elevated pillars, significantly impacting daily commutes. The Ahmedabad City Police have issued a traffic advisory detailing alternate routes to help commuters navigate these disruptions effectively.

Asarwa Bridge (Amarsinh Chaudhary Bridge)

Ahmedabad's Asarwa Bridge, located near Bhimnath Railway Station, will be completely closed from the 22nd of February to the 23rd of March. Commuters from Delhi Darwaza, Dariyapur Darwaza, and Prem Darwaza should take Idgah Circle and Idgah Bridge (Girdharnagar Bridge), then turn right at Girdharnagar Circle to reach Asarwa Crossing.

Those traveling from Saraspur, Gomtinagar, and Bapunagar can use the road under Asarwa Bridge, head towards Civil Hospital or Girdharnagar Circle, and proceed towards Delhi Darwaza, Dariyapur Darwaza, or Prem Darwaja. Commuters from Civil Hospital can turn right at Girdharnagar Crossroads and use Idgah Bridge.

Cadila Bridge

One of Ahmedabad's prime bridges, located on NH8, Cadila Bridge will be partially closed from the 8th of March to the 4th of April. One side of the road will remain open for general traffic, ensuring partial connectivity. The BRTS corridor will have access to side roads, and BRTS buses will continue operating. However, congestion is expected at Jashoda Nagar Cross Road due to restricted road access, and commuters are advised to anticipate delays.

Nathalal Jhagadia Bridge

Connecting Khokhara and Maninagar, Ahmedabad's Nathalal Jhagadia Bridge will be fully closed from the 18th of February to 28th of February. Vehicles arriving from Khokhara and Hatkeshwar need to turn left at the Madrasi Mandir AMTS stop, proceed through Railway Colony Crossroads to Maninagar Railway Crossing, and continue towards Kankaria.

Travelers from LG Hospital and Kankaria are instructed to take Jayhind Crossroads, turn left towards Maninagar Railway Crossing, and continue towards Anupam Cinema, Jashodanagar, and Khokhara.
