Ahead of the Mahakumbh 2025, SpiceJet has announced the launch of daily direct flights connecting Ahmedabad and Prayagraj, starting 12th of January. This special service, available until the 28th of February, is designed to ease travel for the pilgrims heading to one of the world’s largest religious gatherings.
The daily flight will depart from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 8:10 AM, reaching Prayagraj at 9:55 AM. The return flight will take off from Prayagraj at 4:30 PM, arriving in Ahmedabad by 6:45 PM.
To address the surge in passenger demand during peak days, SpiceJet will operate an additional flight on the 25th and 29th of January. This extra service will leave Ahmedabad at 5:35 AM and arrive in Prayagraj by 7:20 AM. The return flight will depart at 8:00 AM, reaching Ahmedabad at 9:50 AM.
With the Mahakumbh commencing on the 13th of January, SpiceJet’s initiative is expected to significantly improve connectivity and enhance the spiritual travel experience for devotees.
