Sahu’s Chai, Chaura Rasta Road
Usually the favorite spot for those who crave kadak chai. You can ask anyone in town about Sahu’s and they’ll direct you to it. People from all walks of life come here for a stress releasing chai ki chuski. Their cardomom flavored refreshing tea gives a soothing start to the day; you can make your tea experience more delicious by trying delicious munchies like samosa, mathri, etc.
With three outlets in the city itself, this tea cafe is extremely famous for its serene ambiance, and amazing selection of teas. If what you want to do, is chill with a good cup of tea and a book, Tea Tradition is where you should be. Along with good music and artistic undertones, you can also enjoy herbal tea, basic english breakfast, luxury tea like pomegranate orange and rose oolong here.
Tapri-The Tea House
When you think tea, you think Tapri. Tapri is that one place which is so amazing that everyone has heard of it. This amazing tea cafe chain has made tea into a whole experience. They have changed the tea game forever and we are thankful for it. Tapri is not just famous for its tea but also its amazing food including vada pav, maggie, bun-muska and Parle-G (which is served complimentary with the chai). The funky interior and open rooftop space make it the most popular youngster hangout.
Thirstea, Malviya Nagar
Serving over 150 varieties of tea, this place is a must visit for when you have ardent tea cravings. The popular teas in “milk” section are Sauf ki chai, Laung ki chai and Elaichi ki chai. For regional flavors, this place offers Kashmiri Kahwa , Nathdwara Chai ,Irani Chai and Pushkar speciality. They also offer a special section of Iced Tea which has 25 varieties to beat the heat.
Chaisa-The tea cafe, Lal Kothi
Established in an small lane, this place is the most poorly kept secret of town. It is the best place to quench that tea thirst. A cozy street and some quality time with your friends, while playing different board games, is a recipe for a perfect time. The place stands true to every youngsters motto in life: Eat-Drink-Play. You can also try their Ba.mbaiya Sandwich and Chhammak Chhallo Maggi.
Talk Over Tea, Tonk Road
Owned by a former Oberoi employee who wanted to have a specific little establishment for tea lovers like himself, Talk Over Tea is a chai lovers dream realised. With a huge selection non milk and milk tea, their USP is the Ginger Elaichi Tea and a ToT Special made with secret herbs. This place is the hot-spot for college goers and young-adults.
T-LA – The Tea Lounge, Vaishali Nagar
Wrapped in a complete desi look, T-La, the tea lounge offers a wide selection of tea. The amazing thing about this lounge is, that it has a lot of healthy options and recipes for all the fitness freaks out there. Their Exotic Ceylon Tea, Hibiscus Green Tea and Lavendar Oolang Tea are especially popular. They also offers happy hours just like any other lounge, the difference being, it gives away 1+1 chai during happy hours. You can try Chana Jor Garam, Chinese Maggie and some T-LA special omelette, their special Chocolate tea is also worth mentioning.
Chai Chaska, Chitrakoot
The best place to have tea on a rainy evening, Chai Chaska isn’t some grand tea cafe or chain, but the chai they serve here will definitely make you think it is one. They have some delectable options in tea, like kesar, elaichi and a mom special tea which has a secret blend of homemade masala that can cure the most stubborn cold.
