Ahmedabad Metro services to Gandhinagar suspended for safety inspection on Jan 9: Know details

Metro will remain unavailable from 10:40 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday.

Metro commuters between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar should take note that the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (GMRCL) has announced a temporary suspension of metro services on the Motera Stadium to Gandhinagar section on the 9th of January 2025. The suspension is due to an inspection by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) on the Phase-II corridor, covering the Motera Stadium to Sector-1 and GNLU to GIFT City sections.

So, the metro services will remain unavailable from 10:40 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday. The last train before the suspension will depart from Sector-1 to Motera Stadium at 10:00 AM, and from GNLU to GIFT City at 9:45 AM.

Services will resume as per the regular timetable from 4:00 PM onwards on the same day. GMRCL has requested commuters to plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
