With Class 10 and 12 board exams approaching, the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has announced plans to run 250 additional buses to ensure students reach their exam centres without hassle. Minister of State for Home and Transport shared the update on X (formerly Twitter), stating that special transport arrangements will be in place from the 27th of February to the 10th of March 2025.

So far, 85 extra buses have been requested by district administrations, and more will be added based on demand. GSRTC has also instructed all district transport offices to prioritise student commuters, operate extra buses, and maintain punctuality during the exam period.

To streamline coordination, control rooms will be set up in all GSRTC departments, ensuring real-time assistance and smooth operations. The initiative aims to provide stress-free travel for students during this crucial time.
