Knocksense Shorts | Ahmedabad Metro to operate on extended hours for T20 match

The 3rd T20I match between India and New Zealand is being held today at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. As the match is the final game of the ongoing T20 series and will decide the winner among both the tying teams, a significantly high influx of visitors is expected for the match.

To facilitate the visitors, the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has extended the operational duration of the Ahmedabad metro which will run for two-and-a-half hours more that its scheduled hours.

As per GMRC's official statement, the durational gap between each trip has also been reduced and the train will be available at every 15 minutes on Wednesday. With this, the operational duration of the train has been extended from 10:00 pm to 12:30 am (on Feb 2).
