The process of parking vehicles at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport in Ahmedabad will become more convenient as the facility is now set to be equipped with automated FASTag accessible car parking technology.

The implementation of FASTag technology will enable cashless transactions, reducing the need for submitting or acquiring vehicles in the parking facility, thereby saving time. This will also help in streamlining traffic movement in various checkpoints of the airport parking.

Furthermore, in case customers do not have FASTag, they can easily make a pre-payment for their parking duration by scanning a QR code just before exiting. The airport management is currently working on finalizing the system, which is expected to be in place soon.
