Gujarat's eagerly awaited Greenfield Airport, situated at Hirasar village, about 30 km from Rajkot, is all set to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister on 27th July. With its strategic location on the Rajkot-Ahmedabad highway, the airport promises to significantly enhance the state's air connectivity to the international market.

Built at a cost of Rs 1,405 crores through a collaborative effort between the Airport Authority of India and the Civil Aviation Department of the Government of Gujarat, this landmark project holds immense potential for economic growth. Not only will it attract international flights, fostering industrial development and generating employment opportunities, but it is also expected to drive substantial commercial expansion in the region.

The airport's impact is predicted to reverberate across multiple sectors, including travel logistics, hotel industry, warehouse cargo handling, and clearing businesses, further boosting Gujarat's thriving economy.
