Construction on India's much-anticipated Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor project is currently underway. Touted to conclude in 4 years, 26% of it’s fabrication has already been completed.

Once aboard, passengers will get a chance to travel underwater along the 21 km stretch passing through Thane in Mumbai.

Popular for it‘s safety and reliability standards, the NHSRCL are using Japanese Shinkansen Technology for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project. Running at a pace of 320 km/hr, the high-speed train will cover the distance between Mumbai and Ahmedabad in just 3 hours– half the time taken by the current fastest train, the Bhuj AC Superfast Express, which takes 6 hours and 10 minutes.
