New express bus service launched between Ahmedabad's Maninagar and Gandhinagar's Akshardham Temple

The new daily bus service has started with a ticket price of ₹40.

The Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) has introduced a new express bus service connecting Maninagar in Ahmedabad to the iconic Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar. The service, operating under route 102, aims to provide a convenient and affordable travel option for commuters and devotees visiting the temple.

Total of 16 trips daily between Maninagar and Akshardham

The newly launched service will operate with two dedicated buses, making a total of 16 trips daily between Maninagar and Akshardham. The ticket fare for the journey has been set at ₹40, with no provision for free passes, connection passes, or preferred tickets at this stage.

The route covers several key areas in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, including Lal Darwaja, Delhi Darwaja, Shahibaug Underbridge, Visat Circle, Tapovan Circle, Koba Circle, P.D.P.U. Cross Road, Raksha Shakti Circle, Indroda Circle, Ch-3 Circle (Sector-11), Vidhan Sabha, Udyog Bhavan Cross Road, and the Old Secretariat before reaching Akshardham Swaminarayan Temple.

This express bus service is expected to enhance connectivity between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, making travel more accessible for daily commuters as well as visitors to Akshardham.
