India's youngest airline, Akasa Air, has announced new flights from Ahmedabad to Lucknow, Hyderabad and Goa. For Amdavadis, the addition of these new direct flights from the city couldn't have been more timely, as they will now have ample options for air travel as they plan their summer vacations. With these new flights, tourists and businesses alike will benefit.

Two flights a day to Goa's Mopa airport

With the addition of these new Akasa Air flights, passengers traversing the Ahmedabad-Lucknow route can fly directly to their destination, without any mid-way lay-overs. Similarly, there will be two daily flights on the Ahmedabad-Goa and Ahmedabad-Hyderabad routes, effective from March 15.

Ever since it started operations in August 2022, Akasa Air's route network has been continuously expanding. With the recent additions of Bagdodra and Bhubaneswar to its network, the airline now serves 16 cities across India. These new flights from Ahmedabad will further strengthen the airline's hold in the city where their first ever commercial flight had landed.
