The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has unveiled a dazzling new attraction at the Sabarmati Riverfront—the Glow Garden (Night Flower Park). This fascinating park with illuminated sculptures and installations, is located within the existing Flower Park.

The Glow Garden was inaugurated on the 3rd of January with the launch of the Ahmedabad International Flower Show 2025. Visitors to the Flower Show can explore the Glow Garden using the same ticket.

Over 50 illuminated sculptures, life-like representations of animals & more

Spread over 4,500 square meters, the Glow Garden is a carefully curated experience designed to bring life to the riverfront after dark. Developed with an investment of ₹3 crores, it features over 50 illuminated sculptures, including life-like representations of animals like lions, tigers, giraffes, and polar bears, as well as glowing flowers such as roses, lotuses, and sunflowers.

“The idea behind creating this night garden is to encourage visitors to explore gardens even after sunset,” said Dev Chaudhary, Deputy Municipal Commissioner of Ahmedabad. Adding to the allure are interactive zones, LED-lit pathways, lighting tunnels, and glowing swings, making it a perfect spot for families, children, and photography enthusiasts alike.

Jungle theme and curated lighting elements

This new Glow Garden has been designed to bring gardens to life after sunset, encouraging people to explore these spaces at night. With its vibrant jungle theme and thoughtfully curated lighting elements, the garden offers a unique experience that combines art, nature, and technology. Swings, benches, and designated selfie points further enhance the visitor experience, making the space both playful and serene.

A major highlight of this initiative is that visitors to the Annual Flower Show can explore the Glow Garden using the same ticket, providing a seamless and cost-effective way to enjoy both attractions. The official ticket and timing for the park have not been decided yet.
