Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) has joined hands with Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, to establish Suzuki-AMA Centre for Japanese Management. To be officially inaugurated today at AMA’s ATIRA Complex premises, this centre aims to foster Japanese business culture and management expertise in Gujarat, reinforcing the state’s aspiration to become the “Mini-Japan of India”.

The Suzuki-AMA Centre is the 6th Japan-focused initiative by AMA, complementing its existing Japanese Language Centre, Japan Information & Study Centre, Japanese Zen Garden, KHS Kaizen Academy, and Japan Cultural Centre. It also marks AMA’s 60th activity centre.

The launch event will also welcome a 76-member Japanese goodwill delegation from Shizuoka Prefecture and Hamamatsu City. The delegation, led by Yasutomo Suzuki, Governor of Shizuoka Prefecture, and Toshihiro Suzuki, President of Suzuki Motor Corporation, included officials, industry leaders, and representatives from Japanese media.

This partnership aims to deepen cultural and economic ties between Gujarat and Japan, showcasing a shared commitment to innovation and international cooperation.
