Known as the 'Land of the Reptiles', Agumbe will be a treat for you if you have a Bear-Grylls-living-in-the-wild fantasy! Spread across a sprawling area, these pristine rainforests are inhabited by a variety of flora and fauna but out of all the dwellers, King Cobras can be spotted in abundance here.

You can travel from Goa to Agumbe in multiple ways, according to your budget and convenience. If you're planning to fly, the nearest airport to Agumbe is the Mangalore Airport, about 95 kilometers away from Agumbe Village. But travelling via train will land you at Udupi Railway Station, which is about 50 kilometres away from the village. As for a bus journey, you can take a bus to Thirthahalli and another one from there to Agumbe!
