In a measure to boost the services of the cold chain corridor from Goa, the South Western Railway (SWR) has added new food categories to its freight. For the first time, chocolates and noodles will now be parcelled through idle AC coaches of express trains. As per reports, the move is set to facilitate the transport of food and dairy products (those outlined as chocolates), across the western region effectively.
