Under the ambit of this initiative, the administration will provide monetary support to schools, colleges, NGOs and research institutes in Goa to conduct workshops, seminars, exhibitions and other events in the field of science. In addition to this, Goa State Council for Science and Technology will be given grants of up to ₹10 lakh to conduct and participate in such events, every year.

On the other hand, the State Council for Educational Research and Training and Goa Science Centre will get financial assistance of ₹10 lakh and ₹5 lakh, respectively, for each financial year.

The administration has already established a proposal appraisal committee that includes experts in science. The proposals from schools, colleges, research institutes and NGOs will first be scrutinised and approved by this committee before granting the financial support. Reportedly, 25% of the entire proposed sanctions by the authority have been reserved for people belonging to the ST communities.
