In a bid to control the rapid spread of coronavirus in Goa, the govt on Monday announced the extension of the curfew, until 7 AM on August 2. COVID curfew was initially imposed in the state on May 9 in wake of the 'second wave'. Since then, it has been repeatedly extended to actively break the chain of the virus. While several relaxations have been put in place here, the administration also released a set of detailed guidelines in the coastal state to prevent any further unprecedented rise.

As a precautionary measure against the rising spread, the Goa government has decided to extend the public curfew here for another week, till August 2. SOPs have been issued to ensure that there is no laxity in any way for the virus to rise and spread. On Monday, the state reported as many as 75 fresh cases in a single day. Besides, 6 new virus-related deaths in the last 24 hours have further aggravated the need to stabilise the pandemic situation here.

Check out the list below to find out what is open, closed and opened with restrictions:

All locals and those travelling to the state are requested to completely adhere to all COVID norms. It is only with the joint efforts of the public and administration SOPs that the COVID spell and the anticipated third wave can be curbed, quote experts.
