In a recent press release, Mopa International Airport in Goa unveiled the new logo establishing the brand’s identity and creating a distinct marque amongst the potential customers. The logo stands to be an amalgamation of Goa‘s playful and optimistic vibe which encapsulates the state’s warm sun, moist sand, beautiful palm trees, alluring sea, and the scintillating sky.

Goa is a prominent benchmark for tourism in India. The new airport will host a footfall of approximately 4.4 million per year, including both domestic and international passengers. GMR Goa International Airport Limited (GGIAL), is building the place at an estimated cost of ₹3,000 crore.

As per reports, the new airport is still under-construction and will start operations by December, 2022. This will be the second airport in the state, first being Dabolim Airport, inaugurated in 2013.
