Stuart Broad conceded 35 (4, 5wd, 7nb, 4, 4, 4, 6, 1) runs, including 6 extras in an over against Indian debutant skipper Jasprit Bumrah in the final India vs England Test at Edgbaston, England. This is the most runs ever conceded by a bowler in Test cricket history.

With two 6s, four 4s and a single, Jasprit Bumrah also broke the world record by hitting 29 runs in an over in a test match. The 28-year-old, Bumrah broke the record that was jointly held by West Indian legendary batsman Brian Lara, Australia's George Bailey and South African all-rounder Keshav Maharaj who all scored 28 runs.
