14 new flights from Indore to Surat, Udaipur, Shirdi and Rajkot; DGCA issues summer schedule

A total of 14 new flights have been added to Indore's air network, which will fly to four new destinations including Surat, Rajkot, Udaipur and Shirdi. With the addition of these flights from Indore, the total number of flights being operated at Indore airport will reach 88.

Adding to Indore airport's rapid expansion 

These new flights from Indore to four news destinations will be operated by Indigo airlines. Furthermore, the addition of these flights adds to the recent expansion in Indore airport's route network, with new flights to Sharjah also set to start flying from March 31.

It must be noted that a slew of upgrades have also been planned for Indore's Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport, including a new air traffic control tower, fire station and communication building. All the development work at Indore airport is an attempt to cope with the increased to and fro movement of tourists from across the globe.
