Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital in Indore will soon see a steep increase in its capacity as the construction of a new 120-bed ward on the facility's sixth floor has finally reached completion. In a bid to ensure minimum pressure on the aging structure of the one of Indore's hospital, the new ward has been constructed using modern, lightweight technology.

New ward complete, OT complex coming soon

According to the Hospital Superintendent Dr. Thakur, "this ward has been prepared with hollow pipes and sheets on the terrace of the sixth floor". Commenting on the allocation of beds for various departments in the ward, he further added that "the ward is ready and its allocation would be done soon."

But that's not it for Indore's MY Hospital in terms of new additions and development as work has also begun to build a brand new OT complex on the hospital's first floor. Once the work on the OT complex is completed, which will cost around Rs 7.25 crores, a range of complex surgeries will be conducted at the hospital, providing the hospital with the necessary facilities to treat patients with serious ailments.
