IIT Indore and AIIMS Bhopal collaborate to boost biomedical engineering research

With an aim to foster collaboration, facilitate the exchange of ideas and facilities, and create opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience for boosting biomedical research, AIIMS Bhopal and IIT Indore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU was signed this Thursday by Dr. Ajai Singh, Director of AIIMS Bhopal and Subhas S Joshi, Director of IIT Indore and in the presence of other delegates from both institutes.

The partnership aims to benefit biomedical engineering students and researchers

The primary focus of this collaboration is to promote research in biomedical engineering and its applications in the healthcare system. The agreement provides opportunities for students pursuing BTech and MTech in biomedical engineering, as well as other researchers.

Additionally, the MoU aims to increase collaborative research, exchange of experimental ideas and facilities and joint academic activities in the fields of healthcare engineering and technology.

This partnership is expected to be a significant step towards advancing biomedical engineering research and addressing critical challenges in the healthcare sector.
