IIT Indore bags the Best Chapter Award 2021

The institute was awarded for developing an interactive platform that can incorporate the designs & developments of nanotechnology.

IIT Indore's IEEE student chapter won the 2021 Best Chapter Award for developing an interactive platform that can incorporate the designs & developments of nanotechnology and its engineering, scientific and industrial applications. Additionally, the institute was also awarded a monetary reward of $500.

A fine example of excellence

The IEEE Nanotechnology Council (NTC) student chapter is a multi-disciplinary group that is tasked to advance and coordinate work in the field of Nanotechnology. In an attempt to successfully develop an integrated platform targeting the developments in field of nanotechnology, the team undertook several initiatives such as organizing workshops on Solar Cells.

Additionally, a research Symposium where several industry experts & research scholars presented their work, and webinars covering a range of topics such as Gas Sensors, Quantum Computing, Hydrogen Production, Semiconductors, Optoelectronic Devices and Electronics Manufacturing.

The technology developed by the IIT Indore aimed at ensuring young professionals, scientists, academicians, engineers and technologists have a platform to discuss, explore and collaborate in the various domains including semiconductor, nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, photovoltaic, biomedical sensors and memory devices.
