IMC to reward citizens contributing towards Indore's green cover

The IMC 'Green Award' will be given to one house owner in each ward, between July 7 and July 14.

In a bid to increase the city's green cover, Indore Municipal Corporation has announced an award for the residents. According to the statement given by Mayor Pushpamitra Bhargava, 85 house owners across the city will be given the 'Green Award' for showcasing impressive greenery, between July 7 and July 14.

Through this campaign, the city administration aims to achieve the goal of planting a total of 51 lakh saplings across the city in this period. Notably, this award will be included in the IMC budget and will acts as an incentive for residents to do their bit to boost urban greening in Indore.
