IndiGo spurs new flight operations schedule with direct flights between Indore-Chandigarh

India is slowly gearing up for the upcoming tourist season and the popular spots of the country have already started experiencing sufficient domestic footfall. Considering the demand for better domestic flight connectivity between various states, IndiGo airlines launched its Indore-Chandigarh flight service this Tuesday.

The private airline previously announced the launch of eight exclusive flights on new air routes including Indore-Chandigarh, Ahmedabad-Jammu, Bhopal-Udaipur and Ranchi-Bhubaneshwar for its winter schedule.

Connectivity enhanced between states with Indore-Chandigarh flights

The ceremony for the launch of Indore-Chandigarh flight ops was held at Indore's Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport, which was graced by India's Civil Aviation Minister and other notable delegates. Notably, the direct flight operating between both points will take a travel time of 1.75 hrs.

Indore and Chandigarh are two important tourism spots in India. The new flight operations between both points will not only facilitate the tourist influx but will also strengthen connectivity by providing additional flight options between the states.

Contributing to enhanced connectivity and accessibility between the states, IndiGo previously announced a plan to initiate flight operations between new routes of India.

Furthermore, with the increase in connectivity between commercial capitals, it is also expected that the move will add to the economic growth of the states.
