Indore Airport to halt night operations for a year; here's why-

Work to begin from February 2025.

Winner of the 2017 Airport Council International (ACI) award, Indore's Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport is all set for another upgrade. The runway at the facility will undergo repair and the work on the same will commence from February 2025.

Owing to this the airport will halt night operations for a year. The runway resurfacing work will be carried out from midnight to 6 AM.Estimated to cost around ₹25 crore, the repair will involve complete replacement of the surface with a brand new layer.

Notably, Hence, the nighttime operations at the airport will be suspended for the duration of the work and all the flights will be rescheduled.
