Indore bids adieu to warmest December and new year in 10 years. While the temperature remained over 27 °C on December 30, it dropped slightly on December 31 to 24°C, which was 2 degrees below normal. Similarly, the night temperature that had increased to 14°C dropped to 11°C, which was 2 degrees above normal.

According to officials, western disturbance (WD) from the northern parts of the country and frequently changing wind pattern are the reasons behind the temperature fluctuations.

According to officials at Regional Meteorological Department, under the same WD influence, the day and night temperatures will remain stable and Indore won’t witness much drop or rise in the temperature till January 3, 2023. 

As of today, January 2, 2023, Indore’s temperature is expected to hover around 24°C with zero chances of precipitation for the next couple of days. Cold or not, the weather in Indore right now is perfect for a cozy bonfire and a warm cup of tea with your fam-jam.
