After acing the Swachh Survekshan Survey for 5 years in a row, the city continues to take measures towards a cleaner, greener and efficient infrastructure. Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) has a fleet of more than 1,500 garbage vans and over 11,000 Safai Mitra who work day and night to collect garbage from homes, markets, streets, etc. Apart from that, IMC has also called people forward to participate in the numerous awareness drives and clean up drives over the past few years. Listed below are 10 sector-wise initiatives that show Indore’s spirit to remain immaculate.

Apart from these, officials frequently conduct surveys to check the cleanliness in different areas in the city. Other than the Indore civic bodies, the masses also take up initiatives to keep the city clean. With all said and done, Indore is now looking forward to winning the Swachh Survekshan Survey 2022. For this, a team of six IMC officials have started collecting data to note the progress made by the city on the cleanliness front.
