Toll tax to increase between Indore & Dewas route starting April 1

New changes to take effect from FY 2022-23

As the financial year comes to an end, the National Highways Authority of India makes changes to the road tax rates, resulting in a price hike in toll tax between Indore and Devas. The new rates will be applicable from the new financial year 2022-23. These new rates will be applied to Toll Plaza A (Bypass km 592) and Toll Plaza B (Manglia Square to Indore Nagar Road) between Indore and Dewas. Read on to know more about the changed fare.

Monthly pass prices increase as well

As per the new rates, four-wheelers like cars and vans will now be paying ₹60 while trucks and buses will be required to pay ₹210. Additionally, the cost of monthly passes is also expected to see a hike by ₹5 to ₹25, taking the maximum price to ₹315. Both commercial and local monthly passes (issued for locals living within 20 km of the toll plazas) will experience this hike.

It is expected that with the increase in road tax and transportation charges, fuel rates will also be affected. Consequently, other products in the markets will become more expensive.
