With the Indore Metro trial runs set to commence later this month, specifically on September 14, the start of public operations is just a few days away. Following the arrival of metro coaches in Indore from Alstom's warehouse in Gujarat, the charging of the initial 3 coaches has begun and will be completed by today, September 7 itself.

Finalization of pending works underway for the trial run

The trial runs will initially take place on the 5.9 km high-priority stretch that has already been developed.

Pending tasks necessary for finalizing this stretch are currently in progress. Concurrently, work on other sections of the priority corridor is ongoing, including the establishment of a turnaround facility at Radisson Square, necessitating traffic diversions. Additionally, power supply has been installed at five metro stations designated for the trial runs. Meanwhile, the installation of metro coaches is progressing rapidly in preparation for the finalization phase.
