Indore News | Six-lane flyover to come up in Chandan Nagar area; 21 flyovers proposed

Concerned officials have been asked to prepare a detailed work report on the project.

During the launching event of girders for an under-construction flyover at the Footi Kothi square, plans were announced to construct a six-lane flyover in Indore's Chandan Nagar area. The proposed flyover, which is one of many new ones proposed to be built in the city, will complete the Ring Road circle aiding residents across the city.

21 flyovers proposed in Indore to ease traffic

At the aforementioned event, Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya informed that a total of 21 flyovers have been proposed in Indore to ease congestion in different areas of the city. Updates were also given regarding the ongoing flyover projects in the city, all of which are going on in full swing.

Furthermore, all concerned officials have been asked to prepare a detailed work report on the proposed Chandan Nagar flyover. It is noteworthy that the state government is working in collaboration with IDA (Indore Development Authority) and IMC (Indore Municipal Corporation) to build flyovers and boost convenience for commuters in the city.
