Indore reports 595 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday

Indore woke up to 595 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. The total tally of confirmed cases in the city has been pushed to 43,286.The road to recovery for the residents of the city is getting tougher with each passing day with a total of 4556 active cases.

Indian Medical Association, Indore has offered to provide free services in the vaccination program for the coronavirus. Reportedly, over 2000 people have registered with IMA to volunteer to help in the COVID-19 vaccination program. All registered members work in government and private hospitals and health facilities. The institution is prepared to help the government in the time of crisis.

Decline in the number of active cases

The number of active cases in Indore has witnessed a decline with 4616 active cases reported on November 28 and 4556 active cases on December 2. The city on Wednesday reported 629 new recoveries and 595 new confirmed cases with a recovery ratio of 91.7%.

The number of confirmed cases in the city are increasing at an alarming rate. It is mandatory for people to maintain social distancing to flatten the curve of COVID-19 cases in the city. People are requested to get themselves RT-PCR tested for COVID-19 and wear masks to avoid infection. Instead of self-medication, it is advised to consult a doctor.
