As a part of this initiative, the surroundings of COVID hospitals, COVID care centres, fever clinics and drive-in testing centres at Nehru Stadium and Dussehra Maidan are being disinfected daily. In addition to this, all crematoriums and burial grounds are being sanitised regularly under this program.

As per reports, sanitisation schedules were conducted in South Tukoganj, Sindhi Colony, Vishu puri, Saket Nagar, Khajrana, Kanadiya, Tilak Nagar, Telephone Nagar, Patrakar Colony, Sukhdev Nagar, Narmada Colony, Vinoba Nagar and other areas. The main objective behind these interventions is to make sure that the virus does not spread through non-human contact. Additionally, fogging machines have also started operating in Indore to prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases in view of the upcoming season of mosquitoes.

Further, the officials are instructed to implement disinfecting plans in all containment zones of the city. Reports that the Municipal Commissioner is herself keeping a check on these activities through regular tours and inspections. Observing these measures, it can be easily concluded that the municipal corporation of India's cleanest city is committed to assuring the safety and security of its citizens.
