Both government and private schools are opting for innovative methods to better utilize water.

A number of educational institutions in Indore have installed rainwater harvesting systems in their premises. These efforts by Indore schools and colleges are fulfilling two very important purposes. Firstly, it is a collective effort to fight water scarcity. Secondly, it will encourage future generations to opt for innovative, eco-friendly practices. Schools and colleges in Indore are taking the right steps towards water conservation, and safeguarding our future.

Schools have also adopted other water saving tactics

Apart from rainwater harvesting, schools in Indore have also come up with more unique ways to meet the water demand. Some schools have begun the practice of emptying the students' water bottles while they're leaving school for the day.

Huge buckets are kept at several spots in the premises where students can empty leftover water. That water, in turn, is used by the school for a variety of purposes.

Backed by rainwater harvesting, such methods mean that Indore schools are leading the charge to fight the shortage of water. At the same time, they're also leaving a lasting impression on their students, on whom depends the faith of our planet.
