Indore to host Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine's annual conference from Feb 22-26

The 29th annual national conference of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) is all set to take place from February 22-26 in Indore. An event where citizens can get a peak into the lives of and challenges faced by doctors, the eminent conference will be held at Brilliant Convention Centre.

Here, a special session will also see direct interaction of general public with ICU professionals. Moreover, police officials and municipal employees will be given training around first-aid techniques and emergency medicine to be equipped in handling critical situations.

'Cost Effective Intensive Care with Humanisation'

While the workshops will be organised on the initial two days of the affair, the conference itself will be held on Feb 25-56. The theme of 12 pre-conference workshops is "Cost Effective Intensive Care with Humanisation" that aim to give delegates exposure to more advanced technology, train them in newer techniques, and polish their clinical and procedural skills.

The conference is slated to be attended by nearly 2,000 eminent delegates and 400 speakers from over 20 countries. It will also host national and international skilled experts in the field of intensive medical and critical care.

With the presentation of 300 research papers, the event will hold stimulating scientific orations and plenary lectures. Leading researchers and expert health professionals from India and abroad are expected to grace the occasion and discuss latest advances in the field of intensive care medicine.
